For months, years really, I have pondered the idea of starting my own blog. I have gone as far as setting up an account and coming up with a blog name at least 4 times. In recent weeks I have had several people, including my husband, suggest to me that I should write my own blog for various reasons. So, on this cold, icy day, having no interest in my husbands Star Wars marathon, I am diving head first into the blogging world.
Right now I plan to use this as an outlet to show off my sewing creations and to share requested recipes, hence the name Busted Buttons. Button busting recipes and sewing tips and creations to fix those busted buttons! Corny, isn't it?
I also may blog a little about homeschooling just to share some of our experiences and hopefully be an encouragement to someone. Family, cooking, and sewing pretty much sum up my passions in life! Oh! And scrapbooking, how could I forget scrapbooking?. Of course one peeking in our windows would see that pretty much all I do is laundry and dishes. :(
